    Evolver is seeking an Information Assurance SME to work at our Federal client's site in Washington, DC near the Navy Yard.

     

    ***Active DoD Top Secret clearance required per the contract***

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    This position is responsible for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information system assets and the protection of systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.  The Senior Information Assurance SME will manage the client's Vulnerability Management Team and work with other information and physical security system security personnel, including IT Operations, Enterprise Management, Systems Engineering, and others to implement, refine, and maintain a vulnerability and patch management security program appropriate for the business operations of the client.

    Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

    • Minimum of ten years of Information Assurance experience
    • Minimum of five years of experience in vulnerability management with at least one year in a leadership role
    • Strong knowledge of Federal Information Assurance guidelines and standards (NIST, FISMA, A&A (and/or C&A), etc.)
    • Exceptional communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
    • Active DoD Top Secret clearance
    • Experience as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

     

    Training and Certifications (required and desired)

    • Bachelor’s Degree required.  Will consider years of experience and/or certifications in lieu of Degree.
    • MBA or CPA preferred.
    • Current ISC2 CISSP certification required
