    Evolver Legal Services is seeking an Oracle Developer with ACTIVE TOP SECRET Clearance to work in Washington, DC.

     

     

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    Oracle Developer services in support of electronic discovery for internal investigations includes the operations and maintenance, requirements gathering and implementation of the Legal Analysis Workflow System (LAWS) an Oracle database system using Oracle Application Express (APEX preferred or SQL with Web App & Business Processes) as the application development tool.  LAWS supports features to track all Office of the General Counsel (OGC) incoming cases and projects other than FISA applications, Intelligence Oversight Board (IOB) applications, and creation of National Security Letters. 

    Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

    Oracle's primary tool for developing Web applications with SQL and PL/SQL.  It is preferred that candidates have five or more years of practical experience developing applications.  Exceptions to the APEX requirement will be considered for candidates with a high degree of expertise in developing business applications in Oracle, strong understanding of PL/SQL, and web development.  The Oracle Developer requires a wide range of support tasks, including but not limited to:

     

    • Shall have expertise in database design, debug, code, and maintaining data definition language (DDL) for Oracle 11G or newer.
    • Shall have experience with design, debug, code, and O&M of Oracle APEX applications, preferred
    • Shall have experience in web design, development, and debug including but not limited to:
      • HTML
      • Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
      • JavaScript
      • Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX)
    • Shall have experience in gathering business requirements
    • Shall have experience translating business requirements to technical/functional requirements for implementing new capabilities into LAWS application.
    • Shall improving current capabilities of LAWS application.
    • Shall perform Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of LAWS application and other APEX applications.
    • Shall create and maintain, with help of technical writers, standard operating procedures of LAWS application
    • Shall be able to design, debug, code, and maintain reports using BI Publisher
    • Shall have several years of practical expertise in Web Design

    Technical Requirements (required and desired)

    • Required, Active Top Secret Clearance with SSBI and ability to obtain SCI Clearance.
    • Required, Strong understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RMDB), Oracle, PL/SQL and innovative approaches to Extract, Transform and Load (ETL).
    • Preferred, Five (5) or more years of experience in Oracle 11G or newer
    • Preferred, Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience in development using Oracle Application Express (APEX)
    • Preferred, Five (5) or more years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL)

    Training and Certifications (required and desired)

    • Active Top Secret Clearance 
    • Expert in Web Design
