     Evolver Legal Services is seeking Senior Litigation Analyst with an ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    Working with our Internal Group at a Federal Law Enforcement Agency on Litigation and Trial preparation.  Must have a current TS for consideration.

    Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

    Litigation Technology Support services in support of electronic discovery for internal investigations includes the identification and use of technology to facilitate eDiscovery and the familiarity with litigation practices to ensure compliant and sound management of the eDiscovery IT portfolio and standard operating procedures.  Candidates must possess the necessary skill sets to bridge technology and legal requirements of eDiscovery, lead efforts to maintain and define eDiscovery workflows and “best practices” that meet the challenges and improve eDiscovery within the agency. 

    Technical Requirements (required and desired)

    The Litigation Technology support role to include, but not limited to the following activities:

     

    • Required, Active Top Secret Clearance with SSBI and ability to obtain SCI clearance
    • Preferred, Five 5 years of experience with data collection, use of technology to facilitate Discovery, Management or Training of eDiscovery teams and familiarity with litigation practices
    • Experience maintaining case-related documents in litigation support and document management databases
    • Experience organizing and overseeing document collections, uploads, processing, and productions through litigation support databases for cases containing as many as 500,000 individual records for a variety of civil and criminal cases
    • Technical ability to validate collection sets for accuracy and gaps
    • Expert technical user of eDiscovery tools such as Clearwell, Relativity, O365 Security & Compliance Center and Enterprise Vault
    • Shall be able to provide assistance and training to eDiscovery Technical Advisory teams and other end users of the discovery tools
    • Has experience in validating and developing documentation for end users
    • Shall be able to advise and develop documentation on technical best practices in eDiscovery
    • Has experience in successful coordination with I.T. partners in analysis of discovery tools and practices
    • Ability to work in team environment
    • Shall monitor changes to laws that impact civil and criminal litigation to determine their impact on current FBI Discovery policies and procedures.
    • Shall monitor the commercial industry to determine how new technology or best practices can be applied to improve FBI Discovery.
    • Shall verify that any proposed solution to an existing requirement satisfactorily meets the underlying need.
    • Shall verify that any proposed solution successfully delivers a new functional business capability that addresses one or more existing requirements.
    • Shall facilitate IT security reviews of all proposed solutions to insure that any proposed project will be approved to operate within the FBI upon its completion.
    • Shall provide advice on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI in support of civil litigation, selected criminal matters, select Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, Congressional and other external inquiries using the current suite of FBI tools and processes. Contributions to a discovery plan may include the electronic discovery search parameters (e.g., date range, key words and custodians) for a particular case.
    • Serve as the expert technical user of the FBI’s available electronic discovery applications, which include Enterprise Vault; Discovery Attender, Discovery Accelerator; and Clearwell.
    • Shall provide documentation on how they would like to use technology to improve the way the FBI performs discovery and document production tasks.
    • Shall validate that provided end user documentation and standard operating procedures successfully instructs discovery staff on how to use the existing solution to complete their assigned tasks.
    • Shall perform market research and industry benchmarking to help identify new ways the FBI can perform discovery and document production tasks.
