    Evolver’s Commercial Services Technical Operations team is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to work in the Reston, VA area.

     

    In this role you will be responsible for all of Evolver’s eDiscovery and managed services infrastructure. An ideal candidate should have strong background in full infrastructure engineering of Relativity Infrastructure.     Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

     

    Responsibilities:

    You will provide enterprise-wide infrastructure engineering/consulting to our Legal Services/Managed Services clients. All technologies listed below are shared by the team and you will be asked to become primary or secondary contacts for each.

     

    You must be able to be a part of a 24x7x365 on call rotation schedule which includes: days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

     

     

    In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

    • General support of the whole IT infrastructure and Relativity Application and Database support.
    • Perform Tier 1 to 3 problem isolation, analysis and escalate as required.
    • Primary or secondary point of contact for:
      • Application Support hosted on Private Cloud technologies such as VMware.
      • Maintain data integrity, performance, and good knowledge in administration of SQL Servers and their associated databases.
      • Good knowledge in Relativity server configurations.
      • Perform Relativity upgrades as needed.
    • Lead by example. Responsibility for providing support on technical issues that may arise during assigned shift.
    • Manage client expectations and delivery of high quality service.
    • Collaborate and evaluate engineering and integration initiatives, and provide technical support to assess security policies, standards, and guidelines.
    • Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems, Applications and databases from unauthorized users and to enhance security.
    • Manage all Relativity issues and requests as they are received and provide root cause analysis.
    • Proficient in tools such as Relativity Review, Processing, Analytics and Brainspace.
    • Monitor and analyze logs and alerts from a different tools (PRTG, Spotlight, Lite speed, etc.).
    • Document technical functions and procedures as required.
    • Log work and documentation using (Service-Now, Microsoft Office Documentation) and raise tickets according to service level agreement.
    • Manage and develop procedural, reporting, and resource tools to ensure service level agreements and deliverables are met as contractually required.
    • Adhere to established internal procedures and guidelines and the ability to document using ITIL and ISO complaint format.

    Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
    • Must be a self-starter with the ability learn and provide infrastructure, database, network, storage, security solutions, and technical management with little or no direct supervision.
    • Must be able to manage and maintain Relativity infrastructure and support clients as needed.
    • Demonstrate working knowledge of Windows Server fundamentals.
    • Strong communication skills - written and verbal. The ability to organize and clearly present weekly, monthly, and overall data trends using all resources provided.
    • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills required.

    Technical Requirements (required and desired)

    • Technical Requirements:

      • Desire to grow technical skills.
      • Knowledge of identified operating system platforms, and ability to gain knowledge in public/private cloud technologies.
      • Working knowledge on Relativity tools.
      • EDiscovery, Relativity and LAW experience preferred.
      • Some experience with MS Office products including Project and Visio is preferred.
