    Evolver is seeking a Data Analyst SME to join our team and work in San Francisco, CA.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The Data Analyst works with business and IT teams to provide the following:

    • gather requirements,
    • create functional requirements documents,
    • work with developers to create files for either internal or external systems,
    • develop detailed data flow diagrams,
    • participate in the full development process life-cycle from concept, through testing and implementation.
    • Serve as an expert in business metadata, experience in Collibra is a plus
    • Strong communication, analytical, and problem solving skills
    • This is an individual-contributor role and require interactions with data governance, business data subject matter experts and IT owners
    • Manage communication between business partners and IT to communicate on matters pertaining to data definitions, data lineage and modeling workflows
    • Act as a lead and will be responsible for developing technical data lineage and populating into Collibra
    • Act as a lead and facilitate the process of developing data definitions, issue resolution workflows
    • Assist in implement existing metadata model in Collibra
    • Complete data mapping analysis and document data usage for existing data vendors

    Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

    • Manage communication between business partners and IT to communicate on matters pertaining to data definitions, data lineage and modeling workflows
    • Act as a lead and will be responsible for developing technical data lineage and populating into Collibra
    • Candidate will be detailed oriented and knowledge of writing basic queries, exporting output to EXCEL files for analysis. 
    • Candidate will have worked for either an asset management firm or custodian as an IT/Business data analyst. 

    Technical Requirements (required and desired)

    • 4+ years of experience and in depth knowledge of financial products.
    • Data Governance tool, Collibra knowledge preferred.

     

    Training and Certifications (required and desired)

    • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related field.
