    Evolver is seeking a Cyber Risk Management Technical Analyst  to work the Mid-Western Region of the US from the Columbus Ohio area.

    Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

    Job Information
    Using quantification methodologies for cybersecurity and operational risk like Factored Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR) build models and results using world class tools like RiskLens  for multiple clients across different industries. This entry level role will allow the candidate who is skilled with analytics and technology to learn cyber risk management by developing risk quantification models and Monte Carlo simulation. Quantified cybersecurity risk technical analyst will work with the project manager to produce supporting visualization and actionable results.



    • Support cyber risks discussions with senior executives and managers to understand the more serious threats concerning the organization.
    • Become an expert risk modeler in Risklens.
    • Understand cyber risk management principles in different government and commercial sectors to support quantified risk assessments
    • Collect relevant data points and support project team in guiding customers with calibrating input ranges
    • Review results to identify potential outlier data inputs
    • Write report inputs that describe assessment assumptions, scope parameters, and recommendations to client on remediation actions
    • Collaborate with management and peers to continuously learn and improve
    • Be an active member of the broader risk management community
    • Draft case studies and other risk analysis / risk management research
    • Support sales team with technical discussions and demonstrations

    Technical Requirements (required and desired)

    • Abilities Required:

      • Basic understanding of cyber risk management
      • Strong technical skills
      • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with clients on new and emerging projects
      • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, both orally and in writing
      • Ability to think critically from different perspectives (outside the box)
      • Ability to work on a team and individually
      • Aptitude with established risk management practices
      • Ability to conduct focused research and develop recommendations

      Specialized Knowledge and Skills

      • Working knowledge of Risk Management desired but not required.
      • Background in information security, IT audit or security risk management
      • Familiarity with statistical concepts
      • Risk Analysis experience with Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR) experience and training otherwise. 
      • Certified in Open FAIR desired

    Training and Certifications (required and desired)


    • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, accounting, finance, or an equivalent technical or business curriculum

    Minimum Experience

    • 2+ years of related experience
