    Evolver Legal Services (ELS) is forming a dynamic eDiscovery practice team with a goal of becoming an industry leader that supports commercial, legal, and federal entities as well as provides our clients maximum security and efficiency.  ELS is currently seeking a versatile, energetic, Director, eDiscovery Solutions that will support our emerging eDiscovery practice.  Eligible candidates must have prior experience in the eDiscovery industry as a successful business developer. Success is measured on your ability to build and maintain an active sales pipeline, the ability to effectively identify and resolve client needs as they pertain to our service offerings, and the proven ability to close  prospective clients. 

     

    The Director will contribute insight with regard to go-to-market strategy; draft proposals; create and execute aggressive and achievable sales plans and commitments, contribute to marketing strategy, and contribute to pricing strategy. Success will require him/her to leverage their deep sales experience selling e-discovery and  associated managed services. 

     

    The Director, eDiscovery Solutions will promote and sell Evolver’s end-to-end eDiscovery capabilities including forensics, expert project management and consulting, Evolver’s flagship eDiscovery SaaS platform and native excel redaction tool XLerator, and our secure eDiscovery managed services offering 

     

     

    Evolver is seeking a Director, eDiscovery Solutions to work to support Evolver’s Legal Services Division, which is based in Reston, VA and serves clients nationwide.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

     

    • With a focus on driving new business, develops new customers and markets in an assigned geographic region.
    • Demonstrates and articulate a clear grasp of eDiscovery services
    • Gathers client/market needs for development of new product and service offerings.
    • Prospects for and closes sales opportunities with companies and law firms.
    • Responsible for meeting established annual quotas.
    • Maintains a thorough understanding of e-Discovery tools and technologies in Evolver service offerings including the Relativity review platform.
    • Meets and participates in conference calls with clients and prospects.
    • Prepares monthly reports and special reports that identify activities in the territory and requirements of new and existing customers.
    • Manages a healthy pipeline of opportunities from identification through close.
    • Travels to customers and potential customers’ facilities providing them with information and support as required to secure business and nurture client relationships.
    • Communicates customer requirements to management and requests support from other departments as necessary to assist in achieving established objectives.
    • Ensures that sales activities comply with sales policies and procedures.
    • Recommends areas of future growth potential such as new market strategies, etc.
    • Assists in establishing sales objectives for service offering and/or geographic region in cooperation with management.
    • Assists in the preparation of written quotes and sales proposals.
    • Assists in the development of sales tools.
    • Ensures new information is communicated to appropriate personnel as required.
    • Work in partnerships with internal subject matter experts to capture and maximize revenue opportunities. 

    Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field strongly desired.
    • 5+ or more years of eDiscovery sales experienceClear understanding of the end-to-end litigation lifecycle.
    • A track-record of successfully selling full-scale eDiscovery and Managed Services. 
    • Proven discipline developing and effectively executing detailed target account plans, penetration strategies and pipeline management strategies. 
    • Preexisting client base of law firm and corporate contacts. 
    • A demonstrable and documented track record of consistenly achieving revenue targets. 
    • A flexible approach to communication; able to adapt message quickly to the appropriate level or function with poise, polish, and relevance. 
    • An energetic executive attitude with the ability to quickly assess business situations and act in an informed and decisive manner to drive required results. 
    • Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to articulate complex subject matter to non-technical audiences in a concise and compelling manner. 
    • Entrepreneurial spirit; the drive to build and grow a dynamic and vibrant business.


    Technical Requirements (required and desired)

     

    • eDiscovery: 5 years
    • Business Development: 5 years

     

    Training and Certifications (required and desired)

    • US citizenship is required
    • Able to obtain CEDS: Certified eDiscovery Specialist
