Evolver Legal Services is seeking a Database Engineer to work in Washington D.C. 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

 

 

  • Support the development of Compliance Analytics Toolbox and strategic expansion of the Legal Technology Support program
  • Recommend and develop materials to help implement Compliance management and information management best practices across the Bureau
  • Provide day-to-day support to outside entities one database export and normalization to meet Compliance deliverable spec.
  • Support the management and auditing of day-to-day process controls to ensure that use of Bureau data complies with all Bureau data policies and relevant laws
  • Gather, maintain and update knowledgebase to better support future engagements with outside entities
  • Work closely with producing entities to validate data formats and troubleshoot when necessary
  • Provide weekly and monthly status reports on Compliance Analytics activities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of best practices relating to Compliance Analytics

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years SQL and or PostgresSQL
  • Extensive experience in database management and configuration
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with diverse stakeholders including internal customers and technical teams, and be a strong contributor to a team
  • Experience extracting and integrating data from multiple sources including relational and NoSQL environments
  • Strong aptitude for enhancing and automating queries from data sources such as relational databases and flat files
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex data integrity issues
  • Ability to recommend best practices, assesses and articulate needed process improvements and required changes
  • Proven track record of timely, accurate and complete work, independently juggling multiple tasks with changing timelines and deliverables
  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational, problem-solving, oral and written communication skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to take on additional tasks as needed
